Aspindale taper

Post by RobinOfKent »

I have been searching for some time with no luck to find the taper for the Aspindale 894b. Does anyone have the taper for this rod. Any information would be much appreciated.

It may be that owners of this super-rare rod would prefer the taper kept quiet lest more appear and lessen the value of their rod.

I can tell you that the rod was 11'6" long, two piece, dam-less hollow built and the tip section was hollow-built to a depth of 28.5cm from the ferrule. That's all I have.

Thanks for the reply Nobby , of course you are right. Fortunate indeed are those who have one.

The tapers of my "Aero 894" (NOT 'b') wouldn't help, as the rod is 11ft 2in long, having each section measuring 67 inches (with a 20.75in. handle).
