Golden Scales - A Lost Summer on the Banks by Chris Yates was released on the 28th April 2022 by Unbound Publishing.
I am a little lost here. The publisher states "Master angler Chris Yates's magical account of the 1981 fishing season".
Is this a reprint of 'The Lost Diary' or is it a new book altogether.

The most precious places in the English landscape are those secretive corners,
where you find only elder trees, nettles and dreams. (BB - Denys Watkins-Pitchford).

Re: Golden Scales - A Lost Summer on the Banks by Chris Yates
It's the paperback edition of 'The Lost Diary'. Chris did request that the Lost Diary be referenced on the cover in order to avoid confusion and apparently it is - but on the back cover.
Seems to be a common trend in publishing at the moment to 'rebrand' the paperback version - in fairness, it could be to do with syndication - there has been a lot of upheaval with changes to overseas deals (with EU member states essentially) - but there might be something more cynical....
