The guys in the lodge are really helpful and know what's happening. Always worth consulting.

Who are you boat sharing with?

The reason for the ask is it really helps if they know the water. Chew from a small boat is daunting and as your time on the water will be precious you don't want to spend it mapping the place or staring intently at a fish finder.

Just as aside don't follow the herd and for the love of Jesus take the chat in the interim before you start as just that. Also tell Des Taylor, Dudley is not the centre of the Universe!

Be adaptable out on the water but start with a game plan as you never know it could be right.

Hope this is of some use?

It's a few years since I fished there but, there were some cages at 2 - 3 O'clock from the dock near Nunnery Point. I think they held stock fish or some such. Anyway, it was a pike magnet and is well worth a drift or five. But listen to the guys in the Lodge shop.

Enjoy your breakfast and, if you hook one of the big girls, hang on for dear life.

Enjoy :Thumb:

Cheers. I'm going with a mate that's an excellent fly Fisher thanks. He's been asking around and I thought I'd do the same. I heard the dam section can be good.
