At least this has the advantage that if Yatesey doesn't appear in it, I don't have to watch it!

Well that was a waste of time then, 30 seconds of CY and lots of time dedicated to a miserable bloke and a tired woman.

Apart from that I loved it.

Stayed up to watch Britain by Night....harvest time, so often in bed at this time....wish I'd just gone to sleep. The tiny segment dedicated to Mr Yates was superb....the rest I found dull and very uninspiring...too much time dedicated to towns for my liking.

Mrs loop spotted CY and said oh that's why you wanted to watch it. We know Britain by night in the cities full of drunken louts , babies being born, street cleaner etc we wanted more CY. Should of been called Britain

I found it to be an interesting programme - nothing earth shattering but a good insight into other peoples' night-time activities. I wouldn't say CY's 30 seconds was "superb" it was just Yates being Yates and nicely interwoven with urban scenes and situations.

I don't think that i said Mr Yates was superb, merely that his part of the program was.....compared with the majority that was dedicated to towns and towns folk...
