Robbi I would not worry about the advert they always sound good why is thin so good what are you fishing for.

The "society" i'm thinking of joining as a rule of a minimum of 10Lb BS line so i wanted some thin stuff for light float fishing.

Good luck with the society Robbi I have had Carp to over 20lb and Barbel to 13lb on 8lb line there must be some very big fish in their waters.

Robbi, Is the minimum rule for main line. Can you not use a lighter hooklink?

i've taken low doubles on 5Lb line myself mate but rules is rules, the web site says there are fish to low 20's so i can understand the requirement really and it's not too much to ask.

i'll not be targeting big carp though, i really want the 7Lb + tench that are reputed to lurk in there :) but i still have to follow the rules, just in case.
