Drennan Double Strength line question.

Post by Robbi »

Has anyone used the Drennan Double Strength line ? the 10Lb BS is only .235 thick, about the same as standard 5Lb BS stuff

Are there any other super thin / high BS lines out there i can look at ?

Daiwa infinity sensor Duo is a hi-tech line with a low diameter, if you can find it

Silstar match in 2.2kg is 0.22 so the Daiwa's not that thick

The N-Gage is primarily a hooklink material... I'd be wary of using it as a mainline, I use Guru Dragline for a mainline and the N-Gage for hooklinks

But it's not as thin as the "Dip Chromium Pro" 9.2Lb BS @ .185 is going to be hard to beat, trouble is, i've never heard of it although the advert sound good.

The Drennan is tried and tested and a known quantity............but.............
