The problem is finding one.

Or even just a usually unfished lake that we could meet at once a year, I have a couple in mind and can investigate.
Many years ago myself and a few friends would go exploring underground features around London, the underwater ballroom was always on our list but we never tried.

It's almost been done to death...if you do a Google Images search on Witley Park that'll keep you busy for a half hour...or follow my links on the PP post.


Isn't it strange that the new owner built his new house just over the rise and so he cannot see the lake from it......funny bloke!

Here's some nets of Witley Park crucians that I caught 40 years ago. Sadly I never took pictures of the estate nor of the tunnel and glass dome - both of which I entered and where one could watch the crucians sucking algae from the glass panes.
