Well deserved review - this is a fabulously rich book and the photography superb. As always CY manages to sum up the magic of fishing and the simple joy of using a float.

That is a nice write up for a lovely book.

Good morning Gentlemen, :Hat:

..... CY does it again! Another lovely piece of writing.
He always seems to make me drowsy with his descriptive writing (certainly not meant in a disparaging way!).

I wouldn't have thought that anyone could have a lot to say about something as small as a float.

Proved wrong again by Mr Yates and his fabulous way of writing.

Thanks for the link SK. :Thumb:

Liked his review very much.
There is no peace on earth like the peace of fishing in the early mornings

Excellent review but the quotation attributed to Eric Parker was actually by H.T.Sheringham in An Open Creel!
