A minor update: CAPS gave up all their water on the Stour a year or two ago.

Re: The River Stour, Suffolk
I want to rejoin the London Anglers Association and park in the Glemsford pits car park and the suffolk stour is there and it's not that deep 4ft however if you walk up a bit its 5ft with tree cover and tree roots in the water pushing out the river bed making it deeper. Fished BDAC at henny st a few years go and caught tons of Skimmers, Perch, Roach and Gudgeon,. Fished a 14 ft deep swim and had to set the float four inches /100mm of the bottom because of the crayfish.

Re: The River Stour, Suffolk
The crayfish situation seems to have changed completely as I don’t hear of any now.
