Hardy Wanless manufacturing dates

Post by Snape »

I’m trying to find out when the Hardy Wanless rods were produced.
The links on here to the information for production dates of Hardy rods are now dead.
Does anyone know?
Thanks

2 piece 7-10ft 1933-70
2 piece 10ft 1933-52
3 piece 10ft 1933-52

There is also the rare wanless light line No1, 2 & 3, only made in 1952 & 53

They were also used for ""Upstream Worming and Bait Fishing"" at 10ft - either 2 or 3 sections. I have one - an ultralight!

The 1934 catalogue has a letter dated 1932 from Wanless himself explaining how he would use them.

Many of the Hardy catalogues are available to view at 'splitcaneinfo.com'.
