I recently bought a Sabrina, from a guy who had had it from new, back in the 60s.
It was in need of some tlc so decided to have a bash. Ive only ever refurbed one other rod before, so still learning, but more than happy with how it finally turned out. I know they were originally whipped in red or green. So stuck with the green, but added a little touch or red, just for the hell of it. It's not perfect, but more than good enough for me, hope to give it a test drive very soon.
I will add a few before and after pics, thanks for looking

Re: Sabrina
Considering this is only your second go, you have made a great job of it.
Excellent rods Dawsons, quite a lot of power in them.

Re: Sabrina
You'll enjoy using this rod which has enough backbone to handle decent sized barbel. You made a great job of refurbishment and this site provides really good information and tips to assist with refurbishing rods.If you have not made one yet, consider making a whipping stand and a rod turner.
