Forgotten canals

Don't forget that a large part of the canal network has had the fishing rights leased by angling clubs ...and the stretches which are not leased are covered by the Waterway Wanderers scheme ... which means that an annual permit must be obtained before fishing them.

For example, the sections of the Grantham Canal currently leased to 6 angling clubs can be seen here :-
