TFF Honorary President - May Lang
Well Ladies and Gentlemen I have some rather wonderful news to announce.
Some of you will know that I have been corresponding with May Lang (formally May Berth-Jones) in regard to the TFF twenty question interview which May kindly accepted to take part in. Mays interview can be found at the following link.

Nigel (Snape) has suggested to Stuart (SK), Jeff (JT) and myself on more than one occasion that wouldn't it be nice if we could get May Lang to be the Traditional Fisherman's Forum Honorary President. Well eventually I plucked up the courage to ask May and it is with absolute pleasure that we can announce that May has kindly accepted the invitation to be the official TFF Honorary President.
May is such an important lady to us and is a big part of the wonderful history of carp fishing, a history that brings most of us if not all of us together on this forum. Please welcome May to the forum gentlemen and join us in thanking May for doing us this great honour.
Thank you May

Although I am unfamiliar with the lady, a lovely gesture.

What a fabulous and most wonderful piece of news
Chance is always powerful. Let your hook be always cast; in the pool where you least expect it, there will be a fish

Lovely idea and a great choice, I really liked her interview
To enjoy our sport as it should be enjoyed, our surroundings must be beautiful, for your true angler enjoys nature as much as he enjoys fishing. "BB"

Great news,
Maybe we can hear some great carp stories from our president

Congratulations May!
I walked across an empty land
I knew the pathway like the back of my hand
I felt the earth beneath my feet
Sat by the river and it made me complete.

What a charming lady. We should all feel very honoured.
The coiled line travels from the reel, it brings up at last, the hook goes home, and then begins the test of skill. "BB"
