Made some other form of traditional fishing tackle.

home made bank stick

from an old whole cane rod butt, and cut down metal spike
previously flamed finish, little whipping and 6 coats of varnish
quite happy with the final result :Thumb:

Can I ask what the spike is cut down from?
I walked across an empty land
I knew the pathway like the back of my hand
I felt the earth beneath my feet
Sat by the river and it made me complete.

Hi it was an old cut down bank stick, slightly less dimension than the cane and alraldited in place, the top was screw in
