First perch on cane spinning rod

Just caught this nice 11/2lb strippey; the first on my Lee of Redditch 5' Popular split cane spinning rod coupled with my old Mitchell 324 and a modern bluegill Rapala.

Excellent, I always liked spinning for perch, particularly with a Mepps

I've just acquired a cane spinning rod and would be delighted to open my account with a fish like that ........ bet I don't though.
