This was the tackle shop i used when i first started fishing in the late 60,s, known for their Thames roach poles but also made rods, based in Commercial Street East London, the shop,s no longer there.

I wonder who has that old Sowerbutts now?
Jack says it might not be his lost rod..but it surely was...just how many poaching rods did Sowerbutts make? The lady who gave it to him originally said it was made by her father for personal use.
