Can anyone tell me the dates or roughly the dates that Mr Walker was at Cambridge?

Re: Walker in Cambridge
Dick went up to Cambridge in the autumn of 1936. He completed 2 years of studies in engineering but his third year was interrupted by the build up to the outbreak of WWII and he did not take his third year exams and did not graduate.

Thanks for that. I knew his studies were curtailed, just not the year.
