Since I made this video the Stour has mostly been in flood but conditions were near perfect that day:

Well done Mark. Just the sort of fishing I enjoy best these days. I usually start with hemp and tare for the first couple of hours at this time of year - just to see what stamp of roach may be in the swim. Then I move on to maggot / redworm in the knowledge that some super perch may have moved in. Sometimes they have and sometimes they haven’t but it’s a great session anyway !!
