Re: Making Your Own Traditional Fishing Tackle
I meant to mention that I ordered and got myself a copy a few days ago... I've read it already and learned a great deal from it So, cheers Paul and well done on a very interesting book indeed. I already have thoughts of the various bits and pieces that I will make.
For anybody contemplating making their own traditional tackle this is definitely a must have book to study.

Re: Making Your Own Traditional Fishing Tackle
What with all the traditional fishing tackle being made on the TFF at present I thought this thread deserves a bump.
See the first post in this thread for full details.

A well deserved 'bump' Mark, Sir. It already graces my shelves.

Re: Making Your Own Traditional Fishing Tackle
I have a copy and it is very good, there are some great tackle making ideas.
I am currently making the triangular landing net.
He also has a book called "Vintage Fishing Rod Restoration guide"
It is only 34 pages, but does have some useful tips

I got this book when I got my first (original version) kindle, so I've had it on the original kindle and then moved up to the kindle fire hd. I can thoroughly recommend it.
God never did make a more calm, quiet, innocent recreation than angling.
