There's one on "sounds like Bidet" at the mo.
At the end of the game, the pawn and the King go back into the same box........

Re: Looking for a Chapman 500/550 rod
Hi wayne, just in case you dont know, the 500 and the 550 are very different beasts. I wouldnt use my 550 for what i use my 500 for, and vice versa.
Thanks

Re: Looking for a Chapman 500/550 rod
I’m very new to split cane, could you give me more info. I’ve a Dennis Pye for Pike fishing and very happy with it. I wanted the 500/550 for chub but in the same area where I fish there are big carp and they are fussy but when they feed they will take anything so have been smashed up a few times.BoltonBullfinch wrote: ↑Mon Feb 13, 2023 4:15 pm Hi wayne, just in case you dont know, the 500 and the 550 are very different beasts. The 500 is a great rod for chub, the 550 is more like a MklV and should handle largish carp.

Re: Looking for a Chapman 500/550 rod
The test curves are a 1lb for the 500 - - and 1.5lb for the 550. With fish getting bigger and bigger the 550 could be used for most fish.
