Hi all I am after some help please, I have been offered a MK 1V Avon rod of this maker, the owner claims it is identical to a James MK 1V rod, has anyone any knowledge of this maker please??

One of our club members has one of these rods and some time ago I compared it to my B.James mark IV avon and it did look very similar,not sure of its history,however.

If you're looking at a rod by the same name on an auction site i wouldn't pay the price on there
