New from SA
Hi all
thanks for accepting.
I'm from South Africa and have been building cane rods about a year. Nothing commercial at moment, just for myself and friends.
My favourite taper is the Lee Wulff Midge but am currently building 2 X PH young Midge rods with bamboo ferrules.
I enjoy buying, collecting and selling old reels. I currently have a number of hardy reels, perfects, st george, bougles and recently a Eureka which I acquired to compliment my PH young midge. I also and a bunch of American fly reels.

A hearty welcome, Sir.

There are three things that improve with age: wine, friendship and water sense, and there's no short cut.
