I just remembered the name of the Aussie hat company is Akubra!Lea Dweller wrote: ↑Mon Jul 17, 2017 7:51 pm If the hat is made of a "Felt" type material Mark, it is very similar to a top brand that sells very well in Australia. Very stylish!

Re: A new hat
I saw some very similar at the Yorkshire show last week, it's a beauty. Picked it up and laura gave me the look. 20 hats and one head, as she'd say.

I couldn’t resist treating myself to a new hat recently and adorned it with a very nice badge!

I wear my flapped deerstalkersmostly when it's cold, I'm wearing one now. I haven't needed to fold the flaps down yet today but will need to soon. The thought of those cold badges against my ear sent a chill through me to be honest.

Must admit I do like my tarp hats for fishing.
They keep the water off my head and also look good.
