Bristol Avon Malmesbury

Hello chaps,

Anyone know if the angling at Malmesbury on the BA is any good? I am in Bristol Amalgamation but their is also a free stretch. It looks lovely as my wife and I had a walk around the river last weekend after we booked out of our Hotel we were staying in. Looks good for a few hours travelling light with the Cane. I saw some small fish and a large fish topped, I think it was a trout.
