I must admit I have never put mine in the machine, your right the instructions do warn against it but as Scott said it was that or the bin.
I did this year put mine in a bath of plain cold water just to get the ground in dirt of it and to freshen the liner up, worked a treat.
Just hope you've not buggered your washing machine Scott and do let us know if your forced to wear waxy pants next time you do a wash :Hahaha:

Washed the jacket a while ago, only just got round to re-waxing, the machine seems fine... :Hat:
