At last Mark. A rod builder that will actually use a rod so that you know exactly what you are buying and how it will behave. I find it astonishing that people will pay a great deal of money to have a rod built without 'test driving' one that is ready made! Am I alone in this or do others feel the same?

I see Herbie has parted with his Floatcaster, the 12 footer, apparently good for a gudgeon or two, on steroids maybe.
