unbelivable,i find it hard to belive any developer can just rape the countryside like this, i understand the greedy land owners are not maintaining the river banks at the moment and some riverbank has subsided,i hope the london anglers association join the fight to stop this obscenity.

Signed and shared on my Facebook page. May goodness help them if any of the developers go near Stuart on his early morning patrol!
What a ridiculous idea.

I walked across an empty land
I knew the pathway like the back of my hand
I felt the earth beneath my feet
Sat by the river and it made me complete.

The most precious places in the English landscape are those secretive corners,
where you find only elder trees, nettles and dreams. (BB - Denys Watkins-Pitchford).

Not a fish was visible that first time I visited Beechmere; an utter
stillness brooded over the place and I felt the strange and sinister atmosphere which, so the story goes,
has been the cause of several suicides.’

Madness - what do they think water meadows do when the river runs high - or does it never rain on Hampshire?
