Matt, the centre boss which holds the grub screw is just a tolerance fit and the one on your reel looks to me to be too far out of the drum so it may just want pressing or lightly tapping back in a bit.
Over tightening the grub screw on certain model Speedias can cause the boss to lift out of the drum.
