New Pictures of May Fishing
I received a lovely email from our Honorary President 'May Lang' today chaps.
She said the following pictures were taken by Edwin last weekend, She set up all her old tackle to ledger for carp at the local gravel pit. Mk IV Avon, Mitchel claw bail arm reel and Gerry Berth-Jones bite alarm, the forerunner to the Heron. She managed to catch a carp and was thrilled that everything still worked well.
Well done May and thank you for sharing these pictures with us.

Hearty congratulations, Ma'am !

Brilliant!
And that bite alarm couldn't look more traditional!
Thank you May

Thank you May
I walked across an empty land
I knew the pathway like the back of my hand
I felt the earth beneath my feet
Sat by the river and it made me complete.

Re: New Pictures of May Fishing
Wonderful to see such tackle still in use and May still carping in 2014.
