M. Lee and son

I have recently been given an old hollow glass rod that I intend to refurb as a 'user'.
It has the makers name M. Lee and son, Pershore, England and bears the legend ''ROYALTY''.
All this is applied by transfer but is in handwritten style as opposed to some of the transfers on this thread.
I have a feeling that this is a different 'Lee', Pershore being between Bristol and Birmingham (thanks google)
So may be someone out there will know.
The rod is a two peice around 10ft 9in. It may have shed an inch or two over the years as the top section is 2.5 inches shorter than the butt but the ring spacing looks right.
I guess the test curve to be aroung 1 to 1.25 lbs. I suppose it would come under the multitude of rods known as an Avon.

Pershore is where Lee built a new factory in the early Sixties, it's only a few miles outside Redditch where all the rod makers were based....well most of them.

It's quite a long way from Bristol to be honest.
