Very nice Loop.

I know the pole is going to be very heavy but I wanted the net really, and hopefully a big carp one day :Beg:

Nice catch, Sir.

Loop,

Nice one! I have 5' 6" landing net handle that is a fairly large diameter pole and I don't find it any problem to use. Obviously I don't know how the weight compares of mine to this one but I think you'll be concentrating so much when it comes to netting your prize that you won't notice.

They are nice looking nets and are cheap, heaven knows how you can make them for that.
Good buy

Jolly fine indeed, does GJ make poles for them?
Perhaps I should ask him, that's a very good price.

It's a jolly fine quality piece of kit, Sir ... and yes, a bargain price.

It came with this information ...

"I make cane landing nets with built cane arms in sizes from 18 inches to 42 inches. The handles can be whole round cane or byuilt cane either of which can be flamed if required."

You can also choose whipping colour ... and have "your name or any other writing applied."

I have an email address and phone number, which I will PM if you are interested. I have emailed him asking for his permission to include this information in open posts as a matter of coutesty.

The only item he has on ebay at the moment is this ...
