Perch: Contemporary Days and Ways

Post by Snape »

Does anyone have this?
http://www.amazon.co.uk/Perch-Contempor ... 839&sr=1-1
Would you recommend it?
Is it about the perch or a 'how to catch' book or a bit of each?

I have it, Snape. I've not read it but I've had a flick through it a few times. Seems to be a mix of anecdotal observations on the fish with some stories of triumphs and failures. Some small how-to sections at the back. Probably one of JB's better books.

I also have it. Not a bad book, if a little dated now. As Hayden says largely anecdotal, but none the worse for that, and a good introduction to fishing various types of water for big perch.

I have to thank you Snape for the reminder to pick up the book and start reading :hat: .

I bought it ages ago while I was on a bit of a buying spree but nows the perfect time for me to get stuck in as I'm exploring a number of local waters in the pursuit of big perch.
