Do you think we'll ever get a full biography of Bernard Venables? Obviously we have his autobiographies in 'A Stream of life' and 'Illustrated Memoirs' but I think we're missing the independent perspective. I know he was highly valued both professionally and as a friend but I lament the fact that those who were close to him have had no channel to share their stories and experiences. Who would/could take it on?

Thanks Mark, it troubles me to think that many of those he had close associations with may never get the chance to share their stories. As time goes on we'll inevitably lose those characters and with them their tales and experiences of the great man - lost forever.
