A.E.Rudge

I have a Helical Casting Reel and was wondering if these were actually made by A.E.Rudge or were they made by a contractor such as J.W.Youngs :think:

Thanks for your reply,I am not sure either but it would suggest they were using Youngs contracted trout reels :Confused: .

It does say in the youngs 1938 catalogue that they were owned by AE rudge but that still leaves us in the dark because it doesn't necessarily mean that they made it.
d) Helical (owned by A.E.Rudge), as the Helical Nymph.
