I am in the very fortunate position to receive all kinds of angling books, from all sorts of people. I got another tome this morning. It is called: The (seventy year) Old Man and the Sand Eel by Will Millard.
It is about “my grandad, fishing and my quest to find Britain’s lost wild waterways”
Can’t wait to get into this book. I will report back gentlemen.

It’s a lovely book Tim, it’s one I dip in and out of regularly… not quite finished reading it all yet

That's another book to my collection... just ordered it.
I have a few books on the go at the moment and now one more on its way!
Looking forward to it.

"Running with The Tide" is a decent read too. By Simon Smith (Smithyfish on this forum) . He wrote some excellent articles for Waterlog as well.

Thank you gentlemen - so many books on the go. Ive just ordered Tench, by Len Head. It must have been written some forty / fifty years ago and it is likely to reflect the way I still fish today - very simply - old fashioned baits, old fashioned methods!
