Always a good idea not to leave your mint Grice & Young Avon Royal Supreme (the one with the lovely, pristine ebonite marled handles) on the sofa whilst making a brew and within striking distance of Lab puppy teeth. I think it's now reduced to what may be termed 'a user' with slightly rougher handles.

Commonly referred to as an “oh bugger!’ moment… I feel your pain… :Hide:

Some Labradors will eat anything!

A friend of mine described how he saw something hanging from the back end of one of his Labradors and pulled out the most disgustingly smelly rubber gloves you could ever imagine.

Just think, in years to come you'll be reminded of when your Lab' was just a mischievous little scamp whenever you use that reel. :Chuckle:

(Not a bad thing at all to recall to mind, considering how fast they grow!).

I'm led to believe that Dalmatian dogs are more head strong than head strong Lab dogs! Yes, I'll think of Max Monster every time I use that reel over the coming years (particularly now it's relegated to 'user' status)! Definitely an 'oh bugger' moment, but my fault. This Lab will put anything and everything in his mouth...the kindling stash was doomed from day 1, slippers destroyed, leather welder gauntlets a good diversionary toy.
