Hello from North Yorkshire
Good evening many thanks for allowing me to join I am a retired Forester and have been fishing with cane since 1990 where before I used carbon like most people until I found the split cane and it became a love then a passion,
I have a small collection of split cane rods including a mk 4 Avon, an Allcocks dragoon an unamed 7ft spinning rod a french cane of which I'm still researching, a 12ft general float rod and salmon and a fly rods, I love using my centepin allcocks plus my ambidex reels.
Looking forward to learning more from you all and hopefully bringing something as well
All the best

Welcome to the forum. I'd love some pictures of the dragoon, it's pretty rare.
