A very rare and never seen Odgen Smiths candle stick. Apparently it was used in their Redbridge shop.

If you have no grease with you, and your rings are full of ice, do not cut out the ice with a pen-knife but get your man to put the rings one by one in his mouth, and so to thaw the ice.

I was searching through a box of old ferrules and found flattened at the bottom. I just loved the logo so I reformed it around a wooden dowel and polished it. That took 20 minutes and the construction 1 minute. Every angler should have one.

Love it!
The logo is very nice.
Your have to think of a piscatorial occasion to use it?
Perhaps the evening of June 15th in anticipation of the coming season?
After finishing a good fishy read complete with a nice single Malt?
Or?????

The close season is an important and interesting time for the Angler who set out to catch big fish. It is a timely opportunity for him to make new tackle or renovate old. There are no end of jobs to do, apart from those horrible things called Gardens!
