If you use cocoa powder, Tesco’s comes with a lid that perfectly fits a sweet corn tin.

Ah! But then you are either committed to using them or they go to waste.

Tins are banned by my club as, I believe, to be the case with many other clubs?

My club is so refined and gentlemanly, no member would dream of leaving litter, so such bans are unnecessary :Hat:

I always freeze my leftover sweetcorn. In fact the resident fish in a local pond seem to prefer it that way.It seems to have a tad more attraction .
Or
Liquidise it and use it in your groundbait .

Perfect for half a tin in the fridge.
If you have no grease with you, and your rings are full of ice, do not cut out the ice with a pen-knife but get your man to put the rings one by one in his mouth, and so to thaw the ice.

I've found that freezing the leftovers makes the corn softer and more palatable to the fish. I suppose you could still rob a cocoa tin.
