A generous gift from a good friend

Post by Sussex Micky »

I came home today to find this delivered by the postman, a really wonderful gift beautifully made by Wal ( Wallys cast) which he sent to me to house my Crow quill floats which I use more than any other float now. It was a wonderful surprise from a truly good friend..thank you so much Wal :Hat:

Was there a cigar in it :Hahaha:
That's a lovely gift and beautifully made, commensurate with the fine quality of your floats Micky.
Nice one Wal :Hat:

Your very welcome Micky, it was a piece of Mahogany handrail that I have had for years and it nearly ended up as an oilstone box. Then I remembered those lovely crow quills you made me and decided on a tube to hold them. Of course I had enough to make two so we got one each.

Wal.

Exquisite - a fine gift from a fine gentleman to another. Pretty perfect all round.
