Seajecta Royal/Crown?

Post by Humber67 »

Has anyone ever seen one of these?
I’ve got a lot of different Grices but these are new to me.
Also is there a date that they changed from 3 screw to 2 screw caps on all the reels? . I’m thinking some time in the 50’s

You've just answered a question I asked a few years ago Martin, unfortunately the images have gone.

I would love to see those photos.
So many more questions what were the modifications?
What size were the spools ? Crown V Royal ? Lower inertia how? I need to see one of each.

If that’s diameter it’s small for a sea reel
But spool width then now we are talking

Again from memory it was quite wide, 1"+

Sorry I cant be more helpful it was quite a while ago and I only saw it long enough to take some photos when asked if I knew anything about it or knew anyone who did, I do remember it was a bit shoddy as it had been used in the sea
