Andy Batchelor Boxed Floats

Post by Ljm183 »

A boxed set of Andy Batchelor floats in their original box. These are from 2008 about the time Andy Batchelor started making floats.

This set was originally owned by the Late Peter Green founder of Fleetwood Mac, one of the best blues guitarist,s of all time, said by BB king to be the only guitarist to give him the shivers.

I bought these from Peters niece a few weeks ago and viewed loads of other fishing tackle coming up for sale soon.

Peter Green, they don't come much more legendary than that guy.

Thanks

Very nice, I was lucky to obtain three of his superb floats via the first tff Christmas float swap. They're exquisite!

I dare say that a few fellow members have turned a few shades of green whilst reading this. A Great piece of angling history, enjoy it.

Ljm...- Will the upcoming sale of Peter Green's other tackle include the 7ft, one piece Carp rod that John and Brian Chapman. made for him?
I was at Chapmans the day that it came off their digital milling machine (which, I think, John still has at home).
I was forced to ask John all about it and I got the story.
I also saw one of his last performances with The Bluesbreakers (John Mayall) at The Dome, Brighton. Very sad.
