Romsey Vintage Tackle Fair 2nd April 2023
Surprised to find no mention of The Romsey Vintage Tackle Fair in Hampshire which is on Sunday 2nd April 2023 at Romsey School and opens at 9am
Also surprised that it is on the same day as The Yorkshire Fair.
Although there is a great distance between them I have often found when selling at Romsey that customers come from far and wide.
I look forward to meeting up with some of our members again.

Hi all, love the fairs and have visited off and on for a few years. My older brothers started buying split cane rods and Center pins way before me and now having lost 3 brothers in 15 months I find visiting the fairs with my last elder brother a time well spent but also a time of sadness remembering my siblings.

Happy to confirm that I will be having a table at Romsey on 2nd Apri! Really looking forward to it, as my Son will be coming with me, so I might actually get a chance to have a look around myself! I will have a number of inexpensive fibreglass rods, float carp, spin etc. A couple of very inexpensive Cane and Cane/glass 'doer uppers' Also Efgeeco tackle boxes, some centre pins, fixed spools, landing nets etc, etc etc! I hope to see lots of TFF members both old and new!

Further to my earlier post, could we have a 'heads up' from TFF members hoping to attend the 2nd April fair at Romsey?

I have taken a table too, Ted. The first time since long before lock-down.
A few rods and reels, some 'celebrated maker' floats and some books too if they arrive here in time. Speedia arbours, wide and narrow from MacMan in Oz.
And there's bound to be a Mitchell reel, including left handers. I'll have plenty of spare spools too.
If anyone wants any Mitchell 300 parts let me know and I will see what I have.

I’m sure that next year they’ll not be a clash ..
From Rotherham to Romsey is 200 miles
The Yorkshire fair will be an ongoing event
