Recently came across this with a job lot of tackle. I know the stag trade mark originally was Allcock’s and that it became associated with Shakespeare, but when ? Would I be right in assuming that this item was probably manufactured by Shakespeare as I don’t think it is particularly old? It is leather and has a sheepskin type inner for holding flies. Any information appreciated. TIAAllcock’s Fly Wallet

Re: Allcock’s Fly Wallet
I think that will be a "Worcester Fly" item from the premium end of the Shakespeare game fishing crop. A useful find even if not all that old
