Help required landing net repair

Post by BendSomeCane »

Dear friends,

Can any of you assist please.

During the summer my Jason White landing net handle gave way whilst lifting a barbel from a steep bank from the river. As you can see the female ferrule buckled and requires replacing.

Jason white has retired and is unfortunately unable to help.

Can anyone assist in replacement of ferrules

I have a few here, you are more than welcome to a pair if there is one of a suitable size. If you have any dimensions I will have a measure up. They were 'tidied up' and put somewhere, in one of the sheds, before Christmas. Apparently the dining table was needed for some special meal!
May I suggest one of the reinforced ones?

They are all 'new old stock' so hopefully something will fit.

The cane is something like 18mm … I fear it may need something a little more bespoke though my friend

Kindest wishes
