Since joining this forum, I have been fascinated by the Ambidex reels and thanks to Mark, some of my questions were answered. He also gave me a link to a copy of “Reels” on the eBay site.
My wife bought it for me as an early Christmas pressie and what a book.

It’s fascinating as a reference to the reels and the fishing tackle industry.

Excellent reference books, both book one and two. If anyone has an interest in J W Young reels, these books are invaluable.

Wal, what’s in the 2nd book that’s not in the 1st?
Is it worth getting a copy of book 2?

Mostly the newer reels Dave but there is some aditional info on the older ones too.
