Hi all,thanks for having me.I live in Surrey,& prefer running water.I havn't used a split cane rod in years,but looking forward to doing it again.

Hello Neil, and welcome. I've been here just a few months and I've been made very welcome. If you have a cane rod to use, you're one up on me! My oldest rod is mid-70s but I have reels dating back to the 50s and 60s.

I remember,many moons ago,drooling at the window of the local ttackle shop,marvelling at these works of art.I don't recall the name,but it was a corner shop,Station Road,Hampton,Funny the things you remember.
