New Member - hello from West Oxfordshire
Hi All.. New member, I'm Steve from West Oxfordshire, mainly fishing the Windrush, Oxford Canal and Evenlode. Just inherited some of my dads old tackle and so looking to recreate my time fishing with him in the 70's

Welcome, Steve. It's a very friendly and helpful bunch here, as I've found. That sounds good fishing. I'm on the south coast so it's a bit of a trek to any decent river fishing. The Adur near me is tidal, and I don't like steep, muddy banks!

The close season is an important and interesting time for the Angler who set out to catch big fish. It is a timely opportunity for him to make new tackle or renovate old. There are no end of jobs to do, apart from those horrible things called Gardens!

You will not fail to find inspiration to use your dads gear from the folk who inspire as all on T.F.F. Write about your successes and blank days too; always a good entry point to the banter . Tony
