I normally repeat myself on WM’s posts revealing his latest superlative creation, but it still rings true:

When engineering meets art than stand by to be amazed.

He’s certainly done it again, with bells on.

Leszek, it’s really good to see you posting these wonderful creations again and your health is good enough to give you time in the workshop.

Just too beautiful - who'd be brave enough to load it up and go fishing with it?

I have a Chris Lythe reel that is covered in dirt, scales, and dried bait of various types, and Chris thinks that's wonderful as it is meant to be used. I wonder what Leszek feels about his creations getting grimy?

I do believe that any item of tackle should be used, okay, maybe you collect lures and have one worth many hundreds, I wouldn't expect that to be cast into a snaggy river, but a reel? I would use it, you can always scrape the crud off later.

Simply exquisite, it deserves a place in an art gallery or a museum of hand crafted engineering.
But first, it deserves to be used, for without fulfilling its purpose, it surely has no spirit?

If the fortunate new owner would care to double the money on his investment, I have this waiting ...
