500 and Peter Stone Ledger-strike?
Apart from the three part/ two part thing, what are the differences between the two rods?

Re: 500 and Peter Stone Ledger-strike?
The Ledgerstrike was designed for bream fishing Damflask and is much more sensitive in the tip than the 500. It is a lovely rod to use but is not give the all-around performance that the 500 offers. If you are looking for a roach, bream and chub rod, there are few as pleasant to use but, if you need to sling a heavier weight or are bothered by carp or barbel, look elsewhere.

The Ledgerstrike was also made in 3 sections, like the 500 and 550, and goes by the reference Peter Stone 600 ledger rod.

the Ledgerstrike has seven intermediate rings . the 500 has 5 on a standard rod and 6 on the de Luxe. the 500 has a shorter handle - 24"

I have the 500 - 550 - 600 and 700. All 2 joints with separate handles. So Avon - Carp - Bream - and Pike.
